The story
From Rio bowls to coaching
Rio de Janeiro roots
Bruno grew up skating the streets and bowls of Rio de Janeiro, part of the Brazilian generation that came up alongside skaters like Bob Burnquist and Lincoln Ueda. That scene was built on repetition, respect and sessions that lasted until the light went.
A family of teachers
His father taught Capoeira, and Bruno taught it too before choosing skateboarding as his life. Coaching movement - balance, timing, patience with a body that's still learning - was part of his upbringing long before it became his profession.
Professional Skateboarder
Appearing in contests and in the pages of magazines like Thrasher and The Skateboard Mag, and later moved to Southern California, where he worked with Hurley supporting Brazilian skaters and the community.
Coaching today
Now Bruno puts decades of riding - street, bowl, vert and mega - into coaching. Smooth style, honest feedback and a genuine love for the board: that's what shows up at every session.
